Apple Launches MacBook Pro & Mac Mini with M2 Pro & M2 Max

Apple quietly launched the next iteration of its MacBook Pro series and the Mac Mini with the New M2, Pro & M2 Max SoCs.

M2 Pro is built on a 5nm architecture and consists of up to 8 high-performance cores & 4 high-efficiency cores & a faster 16-core Neural Engine

The M2 Max is the bumped-up M2 Pro which consists of up to 38 GPU cores, up to 1TB of storage, and a 16-core Neural Engine and Media Engine.

MacBook Pro 14 has a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina display XDR with a 3024×1964 resolution & 16 inches for the other Pro, 120hz refresh rate & 1000 nits brightness.

Both the Pro models feature three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an SDXC card, HDMI video output, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As per Apple, the Macbook Pro models will offer up to 22 hours of battery life & Macbook Pro offers 67W, 96W, and 140W Type C charging with a detachable Magsafe 3 cable.

MacBook Pro 14 with M2 Pro chipset (10 cores) starts at ₹1,99,999 / $1,999. MacBook Pro 16 with M2 Pro chipset (12 cores) starts at ₹2,49,999 / $2,499.

The New M2 Pro Mac Mini comes with up to 12 cores CPU, eight high-performance cores & four high-efficiency cores, and up to 19 cores GPU.

M2 & M2 Pro Mac mini supports two USB A ports, HDMI Video output, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports on M2 & four Thunderbolts 4 ports.

Mac Mini with an M2 Soc (8 cores) & 256GB storage starts at ₹59,999 / $599. M2 Pro Mac Mini (10 cores) & 512GB starts at ₹1,29,900 / $1,299.
