Asus' ROG Phones have always used Qualcomm's flagship SoC. However, the company is planning to take a shift with its upcoming ROG Phone 6D.
The handset will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. This is why the phone carries the ‘D’ moniker after the name.
Two new Asus-branded smartphones have surfaced on the 3D certification site with model numbers ASUS_AI2203_A and ASUS_AI2203_B.
It has been reported that the upcoming ROG Phone will feature a 165Hz refresh rate display along with a 50MP Sony IMX755 primary sensor.
The phone is expected to have a 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
If the rumor is true, the ROG Phone 6D will essentially offer similar specifications to the Qualcomm variant.
Right now, there’s no information that when Asus is planning to launch the alleged ROG Phone 6D.
