Logitech Reveals G Cloud Gaming Handheld for Steaming

The Logitech G Cloud Gaming Handheld, officially unveiled last month, has a high price tag, a short list of specifications, and an ambiguous release date.

Release Date

According to Xbox Wire, the Logitech G Cloud will ship in North America on October 17. Microsoft's order website lists October 18 at 3 A.M., whereas Logitech's press release lists "October 2022."

Price

The Logitech G Cloud has an introductory price of $349.99; however, it is now only available for preorder at a discounted price of $299.99.

Size of Handheld

The device measures 10.11 inches in length, 4.61 inches in width, and 1.3 inches in height. It's about the same size as a Switch but not as big as a Steam Deck.

System Specs

The system has an Octa-core  (up to 2.3GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G CPU, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Battery

The device can be charged through a single USB-C 3.1 port, and it takes about 2.5 hours to charge the 6,000mAh battery.

Other Features

In terms of sound, the Logitech G Cloud has a high-voltage smart amplifier that boosts the stereo speaker. The stereo microphone also has echo cancellation and noise suppression.
