Blox Fruits is a fan favorite in the Roblox world, something that many have frequently discussed.
Among them is the Cursed Dual Katana (CDK), which is one of, if not the most sought-after and powerful weapon in Deceit. This guide will tell you how to obtain the Cursed Dual Katana in Blox Pieces.
But in this guide, we detail all the requisite prerequisites, steps and how to get CDK effortlessly so that you are able to get your hands on this solid weapon.
What is the Cursed Dual Katana in Blox Fruits?
Cursed Dual Katana (CDK): The third-best sword/katana in the game and may become many players’ go-to sword.
Just as the name suggests, this weapon is a dual-wield kind of weapon that two katanas can be held on both hands to deliver substantial speed, range and damage.
This video is for advanced players who want to upgrade their sword skills and up the ante a bit in combat.
The CDK also looks nice, having a dark, ominous aesthetic to it that makes those 36 cores-and-72 threads even more intimidating.
But it is not easy to unlock; it takes effort, endurance, and readiness. To that end, here is everything you need to know to get started.
Prerequisites for Getting the Cursed Dual Katana
There are a few requirements you will need to complete before heading off in search of the Cursed Dual Katana. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Unlock Level 2200 or Higher: What you need, first and foremost, is to get 2200 in the game. The CDK may invoked through quests and bosses designed for higher-level players. If you fall below this, then you will need to prioritize getting a higher level.
- Possession of the Tushita and Yama Swords: For the CDK, you should already have two other strong swords: Tushita and Yama. They are both necessary shards that must be combined into the Cursed Dual Katana.
- Mastery Level Requirement for Both Swords: In order to move on to the CDK quest, you are required to have at least 350 mastery levels on both Tushita and Yama. That way, you have to prove you are good enough with both swords.
- Complete the “Hallow Scythe” Raid: The Hallow Scythe raid needs to be beaten, as a preliminary step towards obtaining the CDK involves taking on challenges related to it. Get ready to fight enemies you cannot defeat, and bring your best team along for the ride.
How to Obtain the Cursed Dual Katana
The CDK is from one of the best weapons, and just like other top-tier blox fruits (weapons), you can buy it from any NPC or get it by defeating a boss.
This is no small feat, as it comes with quite a long list of things that must be done before unlocking. You won’t even be able to start before you have to get the Yama and Tushita swords. Once that is done, follow these steps to get the CDK:
- Unlock Yama and Tushita for 350 Mastery.
- Win all three puzzle objectives for the Yama Scroll
- Tushita Scroll (Makes you complete the 3 puzzle objectives all over again)
Read on to learn the detailed steps of how to do all these.
Getting to 350 Mastery with Yama and Tushita
To get the CDK, you must first grind your Yama and Tushita swords twice before being allowed to pick up the two puzzle scrolls required for looting the CDK.
Obviously, they both have to be at 350 Mastery in order to do this. All you need to do is kill enemies using the swords, and more Mastery will be yours.
Farming bosses is one of the fastest ways to get more Mastery for your weapons.
Longma, Captain Elephant, and Stone are classified as good for master farming. You can even go out there and do everything, Dawn, just to get more Mastery, kinda slower than with bosses.
Accessing the Puzzle Scrolls
Since you have mastered Yama and Tushita, it may proceed to reveal the puzzles to acquire CDK. Keep in mind that level 2,200 is necessary to access the puzzle scrolls as well. All you need to do is find the scrolls here.
- Go to the Floating Turtle in the Third Sea.
- Locate the Mansion, then climb up to the hill right behind it and you’ll find a gigantic stone building.
- Talk to the NPC Crypt Master (a present NPC on your left of the building). Just let him know you want to come in, and he will unlock the door.
- You need to go to the other side on foot around the building, and there you will find a door leading inside for puzzle scrolls.
- Step inside. You will know that you are in the correct spot… for example, if you get skeletons on the walls.
- You’ll next head into a room, and the Yama/Tushita scrolls should appear on your left and right.
Completing the Yama Scroll
Pain and Suffering, The Haze of Misery, and Fear the Reaper are three separate challenges that you can complete in the Yama Scroll.
Pain and Suffering
It is mostly clear sailing in this trial. You can get hit and carry a huge amount of damage when using the Yama sword.
- Yama MUST be used.
- Pick a tough enemy (or get a friend to do it for you) and have them smack you around.
- Take 8k~10k worth of damage.
This may or may not work the first time — you might need to grind a few times before the challenge unlocks.
The Haze of Misery
Of the six challenges, this is one of those most difficult and by far that most time-consuming. It makes the whole world hazy and you then have to or be hunted down in order to kill a few enemies.
- Explore the islands until you encounter a group of purple-dot enemies.
- Destroy all enemies with the purple dots.
- Go explore until you find a different group. They occur on nearly any island. It helps you to use the portal to quickly change locations and teleport wherever you want.
- Clear all the other tagged enemies for the last time, kill them, and then you should finish it off; repeat until that group is eventually dead as well.
Fear the Reaper
For this, you need to allow the Soul Reaper to kill you. The Soul Reaper can be summoned with a Hallow Essence. If you have none, then go earn some in Random Surprises from the Death King or by praying to the Gravestone NPC in the Haunted Castle.
- Go to the altar next to the Death King, in front of the Graveyard on Haunted Castle Island.
- Just have the Hallowed Essence in your inventory, and Soul Reaper will spawn.
- Just hang out for a bit and let the boss kill you, and it sends you to Hell.
- The first one has you walking around the area, lighting up three torches, killing some mobs that spawn at each one.
- Once done, simply walk into the door, and you’ll be teleported back to the scroll room.
Completing the Tushita Scroll
Like the Yama Scroll, you are rewarded for completing all three challenges on the Tushita Scroll by having an official name:
Dock Legend
There are also only one of the easier challenages(FEATURE) those being Dock Legend in which players must talk to three different boat dealers.
- Find a boat dealer to begin. They can be found on pretty much any island in the game.
- Click Next to talk with them and use the conversation pages before scrolling on.
- Click on the Pardon Me dialog option. This will help you with one new line of dealer speech.
- Repeat the process two more times on two other islands to visit with another boat dealer.
Sense of Duty
Kill a Pirate during The Sea Castle Pirate Raid:
- The closest Pirate Raid event is about to start. It happens in the Third Sea and pops up every 75 minutes. You will know it has begun when you receive a message in the chat that says Pirates Spotted At The Castle!
- Castle on the Sea, as that’s where the Event starts.
- Just Kill One Pirate Before You Manage To End the Raid.
Soulless
This one is a tad more difficult as it requires you to defeat the powerful mid-boss Cake Queen within 2 minutes.
- Go to Ice Cream Land to find the Cake Queen boss.
- Attack the boss to initiate a battle.
- A tune will begin, and an alarm will run for two minutes. Moreover, this song only plays for that fight – and you are going to have to kill the boss by the time it ends.
- It then teleports you away to Heaven if you succeed.
- So there, you’ll have to light three torches and kill waves of enemies that teleport in at each torch, sort of like the Fear The Reaper quest for the Yama Scroll.
- When you done the objective, it teleports you back directly into the scroll room.
So, that’s all we have for you about how to get cdk. We hope that this guide has helped you.
