  1. Thank you so much for sharing. I am confused about this issue for a long time! I have tried to reset warnings in iTunes. It worked! Well, but I am afraid of the same problem next time so I have burned all songs to a CD with AMusicSoft converter.

  2. I FOUND A FIX!!
    In the finder/iphone/music tab/ I de-delected sync “entire music library” and I only “selected artists, albums, genres and playlists.”
    It kept all my songs in my library on my phone but it re synced my chosen playlists and the songs are no longer greyed out on my phone!! woo hoo!!
