The watch can withstand 5ATM of water-resistant and can go as deep as 50 meters. It has 8 sports models along with a heart rate sensor, Bluetooth music control, and a few other things here and there.
It is best to lose on a tight budget but still want to get a smartwatch.

Amazfit GTR 2e
Price: Rs 9,999/-
Amazfit is a popular smartwatch brand with a few offerings including Bip U in the Under 5K category. The GTR 2e brings along a bright 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with a 471mAh battery under the hood.
With that battery size, you are okay to keep using the watch for hours at stretch without thinking that the battery might die. There’s the usual Bluetooth 5.0, 5ATM protection, GPS, a SpO2 detector, and GPS.
Although it has a smaller display than that of GTS 2e, GTS 2e is still among the best with a tonne of features at its disposal. There’s BioTracker 2 PPG heart rate sensor that you can use for monitoring purposes.
Amazfit GTR 2e offers a tonne of fitness, activity, and sleep monitoring features although its PAI fitness score may not be accurate. It does have Alexa support and channels all the notifications you receive on your phone to the watch with ease.
Huawei Watch GT 2

Huawei Watch GT 2 offers a great prospect when it comes to specifications and performance. Although with a tiny 4GB storage, the watch has 2GB of RAM, Bluetooth v5.1, a 455mAh battery, v5.1 Bluetooth, and GPS support.
The battery life on GT 2 is simply amazing. You can choose between 42mm and 46mm variants with 1.2-inch and 1.39-inch AMOLED panels respectively that get as bright as 1,000 nits.
The Watch GT 2 can handle plenty of activities such as cycling, walking, running, rowing, trail running, among others. Since the battery size is huge, it lasts for up to 10 days on a single charge.
But there’s no third-party apps support and no NFC either. You do get an optical heart-rate sensor, air pressure sensor, a speaker for calling purposes, and more.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2
Price: Rs 11,900 to Rs. 23,990
Another one of the best in this price range. Galaxy Watch Active2 is among the best smartwatches with very reliable and effective pricing. If you have a budget under 20K INR or even 15K INR, this should be your choice among any smartwatches available.
The Watch Active2 has a circular 1.4″ Super AMOLED display that comes with a screen resolution of 360×360. And since Samsung is proven to be the provider of the best screen in the industry, whether it is TV, smartphone, or wearables.
The same applies to Watch Active2 as well. The display is very bright in the sunlight, and one can easily operate the watch on a sunny day as well.
On the technical end, it comes with a dual-core 1.15GHz CPU paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and 4 GB (1.4 GB available) of onboard storage.
It has all the necessary features like water resistance, Bluetooth, LTE (optional), Wifi, NFC, GPS, and a number of fitness features, that will help you to go through your health, also all the basic sensors like Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Light Sensor, and Optical Heart Rate Sensor.
One of the best things about the watch is the always-on-display, yes, you can enable the watch to always show the time. Sure, it will consume much more battery but, if you are getting a watch you would want it.
Although, with always-on-display, the battery can easily survive 36-48 hours depending upon the usage.
The watch is available in two sizes (40mm and 44mm), two variants (Bluetooth and LTE), two dials (Aliminium and Stainless-Steel) with four color options, black, silver, pink gold (Aliminium variant only), and gold (Stainless-Steel variant only).
Price: Rs 14,990/-
I am a big fan of OnePlus smartphones so I tried the Watch as well. Although it doesn’t outshine every smartwatch on this list, I would say it is among the best out there.
It has a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel, 4GB of storage, a 402mAh battery that lasts for a week, and runs on RTOS ditching Google’s Wear OS for some reason.
OnePlus Watch is still a blend of fitness tracking and a smartwatch offering good value for money. It supports calling thanks to the loudspeaker and microphone integrated into it.
There’s a tonne of health-related features including sleep tracking, heart rate, pedometer, stress levels, SpO2 among others.
Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3

Certainly the best Android smartwatch out there, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is a popular choice if you are a Samsung fan. It brings Wear OS on-board along with a powerful Exynos chipset and plenty of storage and RAM at your disposal.
Turns out its largest models last up to 36 hours on a single charge. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 brings the Samsung ecosystem on board with apps like Samsung Health but it is worth it. There’s an AMOLED display on top of a circular body that looks dashing.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is available in 4G and Bluetooth variants with four sizes i.e. 40mm, 42mm, 44mm, and 46mm with Green, Black, and Silver color options. You can even go for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic paying just a tad bit more.
Garmin Venu 2
Price: Rs 39,576/-
I am not sure if you have heard about Garmin but it is a well-known brand and makes some insane smartwatches such as the Garmin Venu 2 at Rs 39,576/-.
It is a bit expensive but packs in some of the best-advanced fitness and health-related features. It embodies a gorgeous AMOLED panel.
It has a stainless steel bezel and you can purchase it in a variety of sizes and colors because after all, you are paying a hefty amount here.
It has a SpO2 feature just like the Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch series. You get a 1.3-inch AMOLED panel, 25+ sports tracker, GPS, built-in workouts app, and more.
You can download up to 650 songs from premium subscriptions and use wireless headphones to groove to the tunes.
Apple Watch SE
Price: Rs 29,990/- to Rs 33,900/-
If you are okay with a few features like SpO2, ECG, AOD, and a few others, you can save a lot on buying Apple Watch SE instead of Watch Series 6 in case you are still looking towards buying an Apple smartwatch.
The Watch SE is loaded with features including GPS and GPS+LTE variants. There’s 32GB of storage, a heart rate sensor, fall detection, a 30% larger Retina display than Watch Series 3 among others. You can choose between 40mm and 44mm.
Its other features include water-resistant up to 50 meters, Bluetooth v5.0, a louder speaker and a microphone for calling, and more. It is a perfect smartwatch if you want an Apple watch but on a sort of tight budget (that’s still 30K INR).
Apple Watch Series 7
Price: Starts at Rs 41,990/- to Rs 50,900/-
The latest in the Apple Watch ecosystem, the Watch Series 7 is apparently the fastest, most powerful, and a kind of an upgrade over Watch 6. It gives you a 20 percent larger display with smaller bezels and a shatter-proof coat on top.
There’s watchOS 8 UI on top as the software with a few Watch 7-specific features such as new watch faces. You get the same battery size as the Watch 6 at 18 hours and use a USB-C port for charging.
There’s no Qi wireless charging support but you can use Apple’s wireless charging contraptions to charge the watch wirelessly. You get a robust ECG, blood oxygen, and heart rate monitor on Watch 7.
Apple has added a QWERTY keyboard on Series 7 along with a brighter always-on mode. You can choose between 41mm and 45mm versions and there is a tonne of options when it comes to the bands. You can use Watch Series 7 to track countless activities as well without it breaking a sweat.
These were some of the best smartwatches available in the market now. Of course, the pricing may differ depending on when you read it and some new smartwatches may arrive as well which weren’t included in this list.
Hope this list helps you find the best smartwatches in 2021 that you should consider when buying any one of them.
