We already know that Huawei is officially announcing Honor 9X on July 23. And after US trade unlift, Huawei is working toward more efficient hardware that can really be praised by users.
A recent tweet from Sudhanshu Ambhore gave us some leaked specs of Honor 9X ahead of the official launch.
The tweet confirms that honor 9X will be packed with an Octa-Core processor but doesn’t specify the exact SoC. Previous leaks have already revealed that Honor 9X will come with Huawei’s latest Kirin 810 SoC The SoC also has a Mali-G52 MP6 GPU which the company says offers 162% better performance than the Kirin 710 SoC.
More on the device will have a 6.15-inch AMOLED display with a 2240 x 1080 resolution.
Also the tipster Evan Blass also revealed an Honor 9X schematic which shows various specs too. It shows a pop-up selfie camera setup module and dual rear camera setup, accompanied by an LED flash module at the back.
The side of the phone in the schematic also shows a volume rocker and a couple of other keys that could be the power button and a dedicated AI key.
Which is rare to see in this type of mid-range smartphones.
More specs from Sudhanshu Ambhore ‘s tweet shows that the front camera will have a 20MP sensor and the rear camera will have a 20MP and 16MP sensor.
Ambhore adds by saying that it will have an in-displa fingerprint sensor too.
The Honor 9X is also rumored to come with a 3,750mAh battery along with a 10W charger. And it will be available with 6Gb RAM and 128GB internal storage.
