Redmi is planning to launch the new budget lineup, the Redmi 9 series. There have been leaks about the same. Now leaked images of Redmi 9 shows its design and some other interesting stuff about the upcoming smartphone.
Leaked Images of Redmi 9
The images come from Weibo, a Chinese social media site, and the leaked images of Redmi 9 have given up the color scheme of the phone and it also revealed its complete back panel.
Looking at the images, the design looks very familiar as it is very much like the POCO X2. The Redmi 9 will be available in two color options, Green and Purple, as leaked online. There can be other options too.
Looking at the image, we can also see the camera module at the back which is very similar to the POCO X2 or Redmi K30. There is also a fingerprint reader just below the camera module. On the side of the module that packs three camera sensors, you can also see the LED flash and a fourth camera. These are all in line with the earlier leaked images of Redmi 9.
If we talk about the specifications, we can say that the Redmi 9 will have a 6.53-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080X2400 pixels. It will be powered by MediaTek Helio G70 chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It will have a 5,000mAh battery and Android 10 OS with custom MIUI skin.
Talking about the camera we can say that it will have a 13-megapixel main sensor, and then an 8-megapixel second sensor, an 8-megapixel third sensor, and a 2-megapixel fourth sensor which can be a ToF sensor. The pricing for the smartphone will be around EUR 160-180 which translates to Rs Rs 13,000 in India and for this price, the specifications are underwhelming.
