Disney+ Hotstar got launched recently to compete with streaming services like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Zee5, Alt Balaji, and more. With the new pack, Airtel provides a good amount of data along with free Disney+ Hotstar content.
Let us talk about the perks and bummers of this new plan. So the plan costs Rs 401 and it gives you 3GB data per day for 28 days and it will also give an annual Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription. The annual subscription price for Disney+ Hotstar is already Rs 399.
The only disadvantage with this new Airtel Prepaid Pack is that it doesn’t have free voice calls and SMS. You would need to buy a new plan for voice calls and SMS separately.
The other thing is that users can only avail this plan for once in a year. “Customer will be able to recharge with this product only once in 360 days to avoid wrong selling and customer issues,” Airtel was quoted by Telecom Talk.
Airtel already has a similar plan that offers free Amazon Prime and 2GB data for 28 days and it costs Rs 349. This pack also has a free voice calling option and free SMS.
The New Airtel prepaid plan looks fine, you will be getting an annual subscription of Disney+ Hotstar with 3GB of daily data for 28 days. The pre-existing plan that offers 3GB data for 28 days costs Rs 399 and also has free voice calls and SMS.
So, if we see in short, you get annual Disney+ Hotstar for an additional cost of Rs 2 and you will have to buy a voice call pack too. The overall appeal of the new Airtel Prepaid pack looks fantastic.
