Redmi has finally unveiled its Redmi K60 5G series in China after being part of the leaks & rumors bandwagon for some time.
As already mentioned, The Redmi K60 5G series consists of three smartphones – Redmi K60E, the vanilla Redmi K60 & the Redmi K60 Pro.
Let’s take a look at the Design & Specifications of the just-launched Redmi K60 5G series.
Design & Specification of Redmi K60E
The Redmi K60E, Redmi K60 & Redmi K60 Pro follow the same design language, although there’s a slight difference in the arrangement of the lenses as they form a triangle & The main sensor on the K60E is bigger than the two other phones.
Anyways, The Redmi K60e has a flat display and frame and a Power button; volume rockers are on the right! Centered punch-hole camera at the front! Speaker grille & Microphone at the top, USB Type-C at the bottom.
At the back, the Redmi K60E has a rectangular camera module that houses triple rear cameras that forms a triangle; LED Flash is just under it. Redmi branding is at the bottom. The sides of the camera module have the same color as the rest of the phone.
Moving on to the Specifications of the Redmi K60E.
The Redmi K60E features a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate & 2K resolution, and 480hz touch sampling rate.
It is an 8-bit display and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits peak brightness. It features an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi K60E is powered by Mediatek 8200 chipset and has one core of 3.1GHz and three performance cores at 3.0GHz and four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0Ghz. It is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.1 storage.
The Redmi K60E runs on Miui 14 based on Android 13 and comes in three color options – Black, White, and Cyan!
Coming to the optics – Redmi K60E has a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main camera with OIS. An 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. There’s a 20MP selfie shooter at the front!
The Redmi K60E packs a 55000mAh battery with 67W fast-wired charging. There’s no support for wireless charging!

As for the cameras – it features a triple rear camera which includes a 60MP primary camera with Optical image stabilization & EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, there’s a 16MP front camera for selfies.
The vanilla Redmi K60 has a massive 5500mAh battery with 67W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging support! (This is the first time for Redmi devices).
The Redmi K60 Pro Specifications
Well, the Redmi K60 Pro has the same specifications as the vanilla K60. However, the difference lies in the primary camera sensors used on both devices.
Well, now let’s get started; it has the same 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution.
A P3 color gamut display, a 1920GHz PWM high-frequency display, and a 1400 nits peak brightness. There’s also a 5000mm² stainless steel vapor chamber for heat dissipation.
The Redmi K60 Pro is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset coupled with LPDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0. Also, one thing to note here is that the 128GB variant has UFS 3.1 storage.
Runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13 & comes in three colors – Black, Cyan, and White.
For the Optics – There’s a triple rear camera setup that includes a 54MP with a 1/1.49* Sony IMX880 with OIS & EIS, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. There’s support for 8K video recording and at the front, it has the same 16MP front camera.
As for the battery, it has a 5500mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging. Also, the company uses a Surge P1 charging chip.

Well, the Redmi K60E is already available in China, and K60 & the K60 Pro will be available from December 31st in China!
There’s no word on the global availability of the K60 5G series. With that being said, the K series generally launched as re-branded Poco or Xiaomi phones in the global market.
