last year, Samsung launched the S7 Tab Fan Edition (FE), and now it looks like Samsung is reportedly working on a tablet as the specifications of the unknown Samsung Tablet have been leaked. The upcoming tablet, which is likely to be the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE, is the successor to the last year’s Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
the S8 Tab Fan Edition is likely an affordable version of the more premium Galaxy Tab S8, which was launched alongside the Galaxy S22 flagship series earlier this year.
Well, the leak comes from Roland Quandt, who shared the specifications of the affordable Galaxy Tab S8 FE. Now let’s take a look at the specifications of the upcoming affordable tablet from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE Specifications Leaked
According to Roland Quandt, The Upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 FE is codenamed Birdie and is expected to launch sometime early next year. The upcoming affordable tablet will feature an LCD display like its predecessor. On the other hand, the more Premium Galaxy Tb S8 series has an AMOLED display, and it has support for a stylus as it has a Wacom digitizer.

The leak further mentions that the Geekbench listing that was leaked two months ago is correct, so as per the Geekbench listing, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 FE is powered by the Mediatek Kompanio 900T processor, the chipset launched last year with Mali G-68 MC4 GPU and is based on a 6nm process with two 2.4GHz Cortex A-78 cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex A-55 cores(This chipset is to Mediatek Dimensity 900 processor which includes an integrated 5G Modem). Also, there’s supposedly a 5G Galaxy Tab S8 FE model.
The affordable Tab S8 FE was spotted on Geekbench with a model number – SM-X506B and is expected to come with at least 4GB RAM & will have Android 13 out of the box with OneUi 5 on top of it. The tablet will also have a WiFi-only version as well.

Well, there’s not much known about the pricing of the Galaxy Tab S8 FE, and since it will be an affordable version of the more premium Tab S8 & also considering the pricing of its predecessor, we expect it to be priced similarly.
