Samsung’s Unpacked Event 2020 held on 5 August 2020, Samsung has made some biggest announcements at its bi-annual virtual event. The event was conducted online through the virtual gathering. Samsung launched its most awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra that is featured up with powerful specs and Galaxy Tab S7, the Galaxy Watch, The Galaxy Fold, and the Galaxy buds.

Launches at Samsung’s Unpacked Event 2020
Samsung announced gadgets and some important updates at it’s unpacked event 2020. So, let’s begin with Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the most eye-catching and prominent announcement of the event.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra finally launched by Samsung, Galaxy Note 20 series is highly speculated from the last few months. Samsung announced both the products with powerful specs. Let’s have a look at the specifications of the product. Samsung Galaxy Note 20’s price starting from $ 1000 whereas Note 20 Ultra starts at $1,300.
Both smartphones are powered by the fastest processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus with 5G support (which is also available with Asus ROG Phone 3 (world’s fastest phone for now)). While there is a huge difference between the refresh rate of both devices- Galaxy Note 20 has 60Hz of refresh rate whereas Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a 120Hz of refresh rate.
Other than processer both the devices have major differences, like Galaxy Note 20 have 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB internal storage, whereas we can see 12 GB of RAM and two storage variant 128 GB and 512 GB in Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
If we come to cameras, here also both devices have great camera setup but with some minute difference, in Galaxy Note 20, we can see 12MP main, 64MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide camera setup whereas in Galaxy Note 20 ultra we got 108MP main, 12MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide, and laser focus sensor.

Also, in the battery, we saw a slight difference- Galaxy Note 20 has 4,300 mAh while the other one has 4,500 mAh of battery capacity. And Galaxy Note 20 has a 6.7 inches large AMOLED Full HD display with (2400 x 1080) resolution while Galaxy note 20 Ultra has a 6.9-inch larger AMOLED Full HD display with (3088 x 1444) resolution.
Both devices have great specifications and they will perform outstandingly with such a fast processor and highest screen refresh rate. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 3
Samsung also unveiled its Galaxy Watch 3 in Samsung’s unpacked event 2020 which is thinner than previous Samsung watches and it is a more expensive smartwatch. Galaxies watch 3 has a large yet thinner dial with a 1.4-inch display. And it is expensive than previous smartwatches from Samsung as it is tagged under $ 70 price point. The watch comes in two size variant one is 41mm and another is 45mm.
It is said that this model is 8% smaller, 14% thinner and 15% lighter than the first Galaxy Watch. It comes up with a genuine leather strap. The watch has a total of 40 track activities in which 7 modes will active automatically, i.e. each time if you are doing any exercise so you don’t have to select the tracking type in the watch.
The Galaxy watch 3 has 16GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of storage which can be used for playing offline music. This watch runs on Exynos 9110 SoC and packed up with some sensors including GPS, a heart rate sensor, an ECG sensor, and a blood pressure monitor. The most amazing thing in Galaxy 3 smartwatch is it can standout 2 days long on battery which is quite better than the previous Galaxy smartwatch and Apple watch 5 which stands only for 18 hours.
Galaxy Tab S7
The company also unveiled Galaxy Tab S7 on August 5 at Samsung’s Unpacked Event 2020. The base model of the tab featured up with a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which starts at $649.99. The device’s variants are available from country to country as in the UK you can buy a Wi-Fi-only variant while in the US you can also buy a 5G variant of the device. Similarly, the pre-order of devices depends upon country to country.
The Galaxy S7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus for the fastest processing and comes up with 120 Hz of refresh rate. The tablet shipped with Android 10 overlaid with Samsung’s One UI 2.5. The tablet comes in two size variant one is of 11-inch and another one is of 12.4 inches.
The tablet is powered by a huge 8,000 mAh of battery, well, the company hasn’t specified battery life yet and we can expect that it could last 8 hours or more. Moreover, it is supported by a 45-W super-fast charger, so it won’t take too time while charging. If we talk about the cameras in the Galaxy Tablet S7 so, it has a 13 MP primary rear camera and 8MP of front-facing selfie shooter.
Samsung Also Announced 3-Year Android update for Flagship Smartphones
Along with launching new and powerful gadgets at its annual event Samsung also announced that it will provide 3-year of Android updates for flagship smartphones. On the last night of the event, Samsung announced that it will be rolling out updates for “up to three device generations”, which means that the company is going to provide 3-year of Android updates for flagship smartphones.
According to Samsung (via a blogpost from AndroidPolice), “Availability of feature and security updates may vary by device and country. Update supported for flagship models from Galaxy S10 (Android 9) or later“.
This is really an appreciable step by Samsung as with this flagship device owner can retain their device for a longer time.
