A few days back, Vivo unveiled a new smartphone in its Y series, i.e., Vivo Y27. As per a leak, the company might soon launch Vivo V29 Pro in the country.
The upcoming smartphone series was also spotted on the BIS listing, which could mean that the smartphone launch isn’t far of.
The Vivo Turkiye has shared a teaser of the upcoming Vivo V series smartphone. The teaser reveals the design of the V29 series.

Vivo V29 Series Design
The teaser shared by Vivo reveals the rear design of the regular V29 features triple rear cameras in two big circular rings inside a rectangular-shaped camera island.
Well, the design language kind of reminds me of the Vivo S17, though there are some minor changes, like the LED ring light is missing & the placement of the LED Flash is changed on the regular V29.
As for the Vivo V29 Pro, The design language of the Vivo 29 Pro is similar to the regular V29; the only differentiating thing between the two smartphones is the presence of a LED ring light on the Pro variant, below the triple rear cameras inside a rectangular-shaped camera island with LED Flash inside it.
Vivo V29 Series Specifications
The regular V29 will feature a 6.78 AMOLED display with FullHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and the upcoming smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 Plus, an octa-core chi[set with a max clock speed of 2.5Ghz and Adreno 642L GPU, coupled with up to 12GB RAM & 128/256GB storage.
It is rumored that the company may put a 64MP main sensor with OIS in the V29, and the two other sensors are expected to be 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro lens. As for the front camera, it is said to be 50MP with autofocus.
The regular V29 is said to be powered by a 4,505mAh battery & 80W wired fast charging.
Moving to the V29 Pro, it will have a 6.7-inch Curved AMOLED display & likely with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the Pro variant will be the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Soc, well as per the Geekbench listing, paired up to 12GB RAM & 512GB. Runs on FuntouchOS 13.1, based on Android 13.
For the cameras, the device is tipped to feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS; the other two lenses are an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. The front camera is a 50MP lens with OIS.
The upcoming device has a bigger battery than the regular V29, as the Pro features a 4,600mAh battery with the same wired fast charging, i.e., 80W.
