It is no secret that Xiaomi is preparing for its Xiaomi 13 series Global debut and India as well, thanks to the various certifications. Now the company has officially confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 will launch on February 26 in India and later make its Global debut at the Mobile World Congress in Spain from February 27 to March 2.
As we already know, the Xiaomi 13 series has already launched in China last year, and the Xiaomi 13 series has two smartphones under its umbrella, i.e. the vanilla 13 and the Flagship 13 Pro.
Now one thing to note here is that Xiaomi will only launch the 13 Pro in India and not the regular Xiaomi 13 and the global launch will have both phones.
Well, both the 13 series phone shares the same design language, although Xiaomi 13 Pro has a Curved display and side. There are minimal bezels all around & a centered punch-hole camera.
As for the back, it features a ceramic back and a squarish camera module that houses the triple rear cameras with Leica branding and a LED flash inside it.

Xiaomi 13 Pro Specifications
Assuming that the 13 Pro Indian variant will have the same specifications as its China counterpart. The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1440 x 3200-pixel resolution.
It is an LPTO panel and supports HRD10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and DC dimming at 1920Hz. Also, it has a 1200 nit brightness and 1900nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus Protection.
Under the Hood, the Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, i.e. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM & up to 512GB UFS 4.0 Storage. It runs on the latest version of Miui i.e., MIUI 14, based on Android 13.
The device features a vapor chamber for heat dissipation, and the company says that vapor chambers cover 42.5 of the phone’s body.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in four colors – Black, White, Green, and kind of Light Blue color, which has a leather back finish.
As for cameras – This is the highlight of the Flagship smartphone, there’s a triple rear camera at the back, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX989 1-inch sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, and HyperOIS, which is also present in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.
A 50MP ultra-wide which also works as a macro lens with an f/2.2 aperture with autofocus and finally a 50MP telephoto with 3x zoom with OIS and Leica Floating lens. Also, there’s an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies & video calls, there’s a 32MP front shooter.
The flagship device gets a 4,820mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and a 10W reserve wireless charging tech.
Other features of the flagship device include an in-display fingerprint sensor, X-axis linear motor, NFC, WiFi 6, Dolby Atmos-tuned Stereo speakers, and IR Blaster. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has IP68 water and dust protection.
Xiaomi 13 Pro Pricing and Availability
The company is expected to price the flagship aggressively as it will directly compete with the likes of IQOO 11 & the recently launched OnePlus 11.
As I mentioned above, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will launch on February 26 in India and will be available on Amazon India & Mi.com.
