So people are quite eager for the upcoming smartphone in Xiaomi’s ‘flagship killer’ series, the Poco series. The next smartphone in the lineup is the Poco F2 Pro, and it seems that the device will be unveiled soon. It is no longer a surprise that it is the rebranded Redmi K30 Pro which was launched in China in March.
Poco F2 Pro Price Leaks
A source from Portugal suggests the price for the Poco F2 Pro for the Eurozone. According to the source, the Poco F2 Pro will be priced at €649 for 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage variant and €749 for 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage in Portugal.
Now Portugal also has a ‘private copy tax’ which makes smartphones a bit more expensive there compared to the other places. So we can expect that the device would be priced €599 for the base variant in the other countries.
The Poco F2 will be a direct competition for the Realme X50 Pro which would be very interesting to see as the Realme X50 Pro gives high screen refresh rate and more base RAM but on the other hand the Poco F2 Pro has complete screen without any notch or punch-hole cameras. It will be interesting how these phones will compete with each other.
On the specification end, it is a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro so it will have a Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support, a 6.6-inch super AMOLED touch display with a resolution of 1080X2400, a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary shooter, 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, 5-megapixel telephoto macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It will have a 20-megapixel selfie shooter, and a 4,700mAh battery. It will run on Android 10 and the UI will be the MIUI 11.
As of now, the launch date is not known and it is also not clear that will Xiaomi launch a non-pro model too? That is unclear at the moment and if does then will it be the rebranded K30i? There is also Poco X2 which is already rebranded K30. We will have to wait and see what will be coming by Xiaomi.
