Well, now we can say that the popup camera design is preferred by neither brands nor consumers. Brands are now turning a step back to provide us a better in-display or over the display camera designs.

So, OnePlus this time opted for a single punch-hole selfie camera setup and a dual punch-hole selfie camera for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro respectively.

And the rear section shows us a beautiful quad-camera setup which somehow resembles us the OnePlus 7 series’s camera setup if we remove the forth camera sensor from the design.

The circular cutout to the left of the top camera is a ToF sensor, used to improve depth sensing on portrait photos. Just below that is a slit which is said to contain hardware for laser AF.

What Specs We Can Expect?

Well, this is OnePlus who always come up with a flagship device and a flagship device will obviously be equipped with flagship hardware.

If we speak about SoC, it may sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ or the new one which will be announced by Qualcomm with at least 8 GBs of RAM and 128 GBs of onboard storage.

And regarding other features, OnePlus might take it the same from previous-gen devices like OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7 Pro.
