OnePlus 8 series is going to be launched by mid-April and there have been huge leaks which the spec sheet confirms. The spec sheet was leaked by a teenage leaker Ishan Agarwal. This spec sheet displays many new key additions to the series.
OnePlus 8 Pro Teases the bright display and OxygenOS optimization!
The spec sheet says that a 6.78-inch display including a punch-hole cutout, 120Hz refresh rate, and also QHD+ panel will be there. OnePlus 8 Pro also teases a bright display with new haptics and OxygenOS optimization.
The display will be a curved panel just like the OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus has paid more attention to making the display more color-accurate along with MEMC (Motion Estimation/Motion Compensation) and HDR10+ support.
The OnePlus 8 Pro’s display will approximately peak at 1,400 nits. The OnePlus 7 Pro, by comparison, apparently peaked out at 800 nits and the OnePlus 7T maxed out at 1,000 nits.
OnePlus is also working on making the OxygenOS Android skin “Smoother and Faster” as it has got the smoother 120Hz refresh rate in the 8 Pro. This is going to be done by optimizing the platform. Lastly, the report also mentioned improved “Haptics 2.0.”
The Pro specs are absolutely the headline attraction, whose display is 6.78-inch and the first smartphone from the firm to support a 120Hz AMOLED display.
Furthermore, OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to come with a quad-camera setup which consists of dual 48-megapixel sensors, an 8-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens — these are likely going to be a telephoto zoom lens and depth sensor respectively.
The Pro will come with a 4,510mAh battery. Both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will support superfast 30W Warp Charge 30T wired charging, while the OnePlus 8 Pro will also come with 30W wireless charging and also support for 3W reverse wireless charging — this may be useful for charging the Bluetooth earbuds and other accessories.
As for the internal specs, it is expected to have the latest Snapdragon 865 5G chipset, 8 or 12GB of RAM paired with 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. It will come with the latest version of OxygenOS 10(which is based on Android 10).
The OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro is expected to be launched on April 15th and a “OnePlus Z” is also expected to come.
