The new OnePlus 9 series smartphones look stunning with the kind of glossy matt finish. The color looks stunning and the OnePlus has really embraced their camera module this time which is placed on the top-left at the back. The OnePlus 9 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. They call it the Fluid Display 2.0. It comes with LTPO technology that means that the display can adjust itself ranging from 1-120Hz based on the screen activity. The display goes up to 1,300 nits bright and has HDR10+ certification. It also has Hyper Touch technology which is supposed to enhance gaming performance.

The smartphone comes with the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset which also makes it 5G capable. The device has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage. It comes in two configurations- 12/256GB and 8/128GB. The device will run on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.

The OnePlus 9 Pro comes with a 4,500mAh battery with a dual-cell design. It comes with the latest Wrap Charge 65T technology that can juice up the phone from 0-100% in just about 29 minutes. It also comes equipped with Wrap Charge 50 Wireless which can provide wireless charging at 25W. And yes, it comes with a power adapter out-of-the-box.
Cameras
Cameras on the OnePlus 9 series have been the biggest point of discussion for the past few weeks when OnePlus announced its partnership with Hasselblad for the cameras. Now you have it. The OnePlus 9 Pro has a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel f/1.8 main Sony IMX789 sensor that comes with OIS, then you have a 50-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8-megapixel Telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
The cameras come with “Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad” and you get great color optimization in all modes from Hasselblad and then there is also the Hasselblad Pro Mode which gives you more power like DSLR and mirrorless cameras and you can capture 12-bit RAW image which can be used for post-editing to get more rich colors. So yes, the OnePlus has gone a bit extreme with the camera system.
