Apple Fall Events are always fun to join, and users always look forward to the event as we get to all about the new iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watch.
And as usual, this year’s event was fun and full of excitement. Since it was an online virtual event, we all were part of the event at the same time. The event was pre-recorded and was premiered on the YouTube Live platform.
After months of build-up, leaks, reports, and hype, the Apple iPhone 13 series are finally here. Apple has finally launched their latest iPhone lineup in their Apple Event today which is the iPhone 13 and we are as excited about them as you are.
We are going to present the whole event in brief with two consecutive articles. in this article, we are going to talk about the brand new iPhone 13 series and iPhone 13 Pro series.

Apple Event 2021: iPhone 13 Series
So it’s here. We have the iPhone 13 series. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini are quite the same but just in different sizes. The design is the same as iPhone 12 with Ceramic Shield. It’s IP68 rated and the cameras at the back are diagonally placed. The notch is 20% narrower and we now have 5 new colors.
The iPhone 13 and 13 Mini come with Super Retina XDR Display which is an OLED Panel.
iPhone 13 and 13 Mini are powered by a powerful A15 Bionic chip which is said to be 50% faster than any processor right now.
Talking about cameras. On the back, we have a 12-megapixel(f/1.6) wide camera which uses Sensor-Shift technology. Also, there’s a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens at the back. The new cameras are said to capture 47% more light.
There is a new Cinematic mode for cinematic video shooting. The presentation they showed was quite promising. It can shoot 4K at 60FPS. We now have night mode on all cameras.
As per the 5G, there are new bands meaning better 5G performance.
Now battery has always been a concern for iPhone users. As per Apple, the iPhone 13 Mini will have 1.5 hours more battery life compared to the iPhone 12 Mini.
Also, the iPhone 13 will have 2.5 hours more battery life compared to the iPhone 13. There are also some new MagSafe accessories.

Apple Event 2021: iPhone 13 Pro Series
The design on the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max is pretty much the same and the new iPhone 13 Pro comes in 4 new colors and a 20% smaller notch. It has a matte glass finish and is IP68 rated.
Both iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max have the same A15 Bionic chip with a new 5 core GPU which is said to be 50% faster than any competitors.
It turns out that the rumors were true, we now have ProMotion with the 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR Display on the iPhone 13 Pro and the 6.7-inch 13 Pro Max. The screen goes from 10 to 120Hz refresh rate.
On the camera side, we have a triple camera system at the back with a wide(f/1.5), ultrawide(f/1.8), and telephoto lens. It supports 6X optical zoom.
There is night mode on all the cameras. There are some new cool features within the app like Photographic Styles, Macro Photography. It is also Dolby Vision HDR for videography and other stuff.
There is a new feature called ProRes Video that is going to come later which is a better format for video.
In terms of battery, there is an upgrade. iPhone 13 and 13 Pro will have 1.5 and 2.5 hours of extra battery life compared to iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max respectively.
Another rumor that turns out to be true is that the new iPhone Pro models will have a 1TB storage option.
Other features and specifications from the 13 are the same for 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.
