By Refreshing the Bluetooth Connection

Sometimes, it is a very simple and yet very effective way to fix Bluetooth issues on the OnePlus 9/9R/9 Pro. All you need to do is toggle Bluetooth on both the smartphone and your Bluetooth device. Sometimes the Bluetooth devices are required to be restarted in order to work properly with any device so make sure you do it.

By Restarting both The Bluetooth Device and Your Smartphone

To do this all you have to do is just hold the power button on your Bluetooth device and turn it off. Now you can turn it on in the same way by holding the power button.

In the meantime, you also have to restart your smartphone. Now I am assuming that pretty much all of you know how to restart your smartphone, right?

All you have to do is hold the power button and tap on the Restart option.

If you are unable to tap on the restart button, you can do a forced reboot. To do it:

  • Press and hold the Power and Volume buttons at the same time.
  • Now hold the Power button for about 15 seconds and you will hear the phone vibrate.

Now your device will restart on your own. If it doesn’t, you can just turn it on by pressing the Power button for about 2 seconds or so.

By Checking for Errors

Oftentimes, you also get an error code along with the Bluetooth pairing issue. Make sure you note it down and go on the internet to see if there is a fix for it. For the most time, the error code is common and you can easily get solutions for it on the internet.

By Unpairing All The Devices

Unpairing all the devices and starting the pairing from scratch can be really helpful. Here is how you can do it:

  • Go to the Settings.
  • Navigate to Bluetooth.
  • Turn on your Bluetooth if it’s not turned on already.
  • Now you can see the list of all the paired devices.
  • Tap on them one by one and unpair all of them.

That’s it and now you can start to pair your devices again from scratch and hopefully, this shall fix Bluetooth issues on the OnePlus 9/9R/9 Pro.

By Installing the Latest Updates

If the Bluetooth issues are caused by some bug, there are good chances that OnePlus have released a software update to fix the issue. So you can easily fix the problem by downloading the latest software update.

That’s it and this will reset your app preferences. It will not clear any personal data. However, it will reset app notifications, default apps, VPN configurations, app permissions, clear all paired devices, remove all WiFi passwords, etc.

By Troubleshooting Apps in Safe Mode

Safe Mode disables all the third-party apps on your smartphone temporarily. By doing this, you can detect the apps that could be causing problems. Here is how to turn on Safe mode:

  • Press and hold the power button on your OnePlus 9/9R/9 Pro.
  • Now hold ‘Power off’ on your screen.
  • You will now see the option to boot your device in safe mode, tap OK to reboot into Safe mode.
