There are some leaked images of Redmi K40 that are now available across the web, and if they are considered real then the new Redmi K40 has transitioned beautifully from its predecessor, the Redmi K30.

Right off the bat, you can clearly see that the camera setup looks very new and quite appealing compared to the Redmi K30. Now that is very good from Redmi as we are already expecting the new Redmi K40 to come with the new powerful Snapdragon 888, and AMOLED display.

The camera setup on the new Redmi K40 is a lot simple on the front as you can see that there’s only one punch-hole camera on the front placed in the top-middle compared to the dual-cameras on the Redmi K30 that are placed on the top-right corner. This will give you more screen to work with.

Talking about the rear camera, which is quite the highlight, the new Redmi K40 has a rectangular housing for cameras at the top-left, and looking at the setup, it appears to be a five-camera set up with a flash. “ULTRA PREMIUM” can be seen written on the housing as well. This is a drastic change from the Redmi K30 which had a quad-camera setup at the top-middle in a circular housing.

The live images of the Redmi K40 are apparently leaked via Chinese social media and the new smartphone which is supposedly the Redmi K40 is already looking for a better flagship-killer. This is good news for all the people who love the brand as they can expect a good camera setup, Snapdragon 888, and an AMOLED screen.

As of now these are just leaked images so it’s hard to confirm anything. However, we expect the phone to be unveiled at the same time as the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11, and that happens to be at the end of December.
