The announcement of the official launch of the Redmi AirDots in India was made via the official Twitter handle of Redmi India. It does not clearly mention the Redmi AirDots but teases for the same. The caption mention, “We’re excited to announce the launch of a new #NoStringsAtteached #Redmi product category for You!”

There’s also a dedicated website for the launch event. Although, there are no clear specifications of the products mentioned on the page but it does mention key highlights like, “Experience of the world of wireless audio, “a battery that lets you do more and keeps you going for hours”, and low latency, sweat-resistant and more.

So what it looks like, Redmi is likely to launch the Redmi AirDots S in India that was recently launched in China. The AirDots S are compact and have 7.2m drivers. The earphones support ENC, IPX4 water-resistant, and connect over Bluetooth 5.0. It also has an ultra-low latency mode for gaming and access to your voice assistant. They provide a 4-hour audio playback on a single charge and the case boosts the battery life for up to 12 hours.

The Redmi AirDots S are available in China for 100 Yuan and are expected to be priced around Rs 1,399 in India. If that will be the case then these beat any good true wireless earphone in the market any day for the price. It will be really interesting to see how well these perform in India.
