Vivo V27 Series Set to Launch on March 1 in India

Just after getting leaked via a Flipkart listing a couple of days ago, Vivo has finally confirmed that it will launch its Vivo V27 series in India on March 1.


The Vivo V27 series likely has three phones under it – Vivo 27e, Vivo V27 & Vivo 27 Pro. Also, the series is the successor to the V25 series launched last year.

Let’s look at the Design & Expected Specifications of the V27 series.

The series comes with a new design; the company shared an image of the upcoming V27 series smartphone, mostly likely V27 Pro.

The V27 Pro features a big display that merges with curved side edges, with minimal bezels around it. There’s a single punch-hole camera in the centre.

The power Button & Volume rockers are on the right, Type-C port is at the bottom.

As for the back, V27 Pro features a rectangular camera module which houses triple rear cameras and the LED Flash which is in a circular shape. There’s some text written just below the cameras. The Vivo branding is in line with the triple cameras.

Vivo V27 Series Specifications 

According to the leaks, the upcoming V27 & V27 Pro will feature a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a FullHD+ resolution and support HDR10+.


Under the hood, the V27 is likely to be powered by the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 7200 and the flagship V27 Pro will likely be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

They will likely be coupled with 8GB RAM & 128/256GB storage. It will run on FuntouchOS 13 based on Android 13.

The V27 series comes in Emerald Green, Magic Blue, Noble Magic and Flowing Gold Colour. Out of these four colour options Emerald Green and Magic Blue changes colour from light to dark, and these are the only colour options that will make their way to India.

As for the cameras –  the V27 series is rumoured to come with a Sony IMX766V primary sensor with support for optical image stabilisation and a 50MP Front camera, it is expected to come with a 66W fast charging.
