As I said above, the Cupertino giants unveiled numerous products such as Apple Macbook Air 15 inch, Apple Mac Studio & more. In this article, we’ll take a look at the all-new Macbook Air 15-inch, so let’s get started.
Macbook Air 15 Specifications
Apple has finally launched the highly anticipated Macbook Air 15, well it’s 15.3 inches precisely and features an all-new Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness. The bezels on the display are 5mm thin, and there’s a 1080p front camera in a notch.
The all-new MacBook Air 15 is powered by Apple own’s M2 chipset, just like its 13 inches Macbook Air.
It has an 8-core CPU, i.e., four performance cores and four efficiency cores, with a 10-core GPU and a 16-core Neural engine, and its starts with 8GB of unified memory which can be upgraded up to 24GB.
Also, there’s a 256/512GB SSD storage. Also, the unified memory can be upgradable up to 24GB & up to 1TB SSD.
The all-new Macbook Air runs on MacOS Ventura and comes in four color options – Midnight, Starlight, Silver, and Space Grey. Now according to Apple, the all-new Macbook Air 15 inches is 12x faster than the fastest intel base MacBook Air and is twice as fast as the best-selling 15 ich PC laptop with an i7 processor
As for the connectivity options, the MacBook Air 15-inch has 2 Thunderbolt Type C ports, a MagSafe charging port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, it comes with three microphones and six-speaker sets. touch ID and supports Dolby Atmos & works up to 6K external displays.
As for the battery, the MacBook Air features an 18-hour battery and a 35W USB-C power adaptor. The laptop is 11.5mm thin and making it the thinnest 15-inch laptop. As per Apple, the MacBook is 40% thinner and half a pound lighter than a comparable PC laptop. The Macbook weighs around 1.5 kg.
Macbook Air 15 Pricing and Availability
Macbook Air 15 inches starts at $1,299 for the base model and goes up to $1,499 for the highest. As for education, it starts at $1,199.
The pre-orders are already underway and will be available starting June 13.
