Activision made an announcement of delaying the next season (Season 4) of Call of Duty Warzone, which is said to featuring a special appearance of Captain Price and a new Warzone Battle Royale Map, which was scheduled to start from Wednesday, June 3. Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 got delayed due to the protests in the US.

CALL OF DUTY WARZONE SEASON 4 GOT DELAYED

In a post on twitter Infinity Ward posts about their decision on delaying Call of duty warzone season 4. The message contained black background indicating the racist act on the US, supporting the community they say that they will not tolerate any kind of racist content in their game, and ask of apology to their Call Of Duty Warzone community if they have ever faced these types of shameful content.

Call of Duty also tweeted by their own, saying that it’s not the right time to play the next seasons of Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Mobile, yes they also mentioned the mobile version of their game which means they also delayed the season 7 of Call Of Duty Mobile. The Tweet also has a black background, opposing the racist act which recently held in the US.

In both posts, they didn’t mention the next season release dates of Call of Duty Warzone and Call of Duty Mobile. But we can expect both the releases right after the settlement of the ongoing protest in the US. They also didn’t use any of the hashtags mentioning the black lives matter movement. They are supporting the protest surrounded by the death of George Floyd, a man who was murdered by Minneapolis Police on May 25.
