Why Zoom falls short compared to Facebook Messenger

So here are some of the shortcomings why Facebook Messenger is better than Zoom,

  • Zoom’s group calls are limited to 100 participants only.
    • Facebook Messenger allows unlimited participants.
  • Group meetings on Zoom are limited to 40 minutes only.
    • There is no time limit on Facebook Messenger group video calls.
  • For many people, Zoom is a new service to sign up for users.
    • Billions of people are already on Facebook, nothing new to sign up for users.

Conclusion

It goes without saying that the release of this new group video chat comes as Facebook’s response to the rise of video conferencing apps like Zoom, Skype and Google Hangouts due to the current situation. That said, the Messenger app is a good alternative to use as a majority of people across the globe are using Facebook to keep in touch with each other.
