Now, this is not your normal uninstallation process so follow the steps carefully:
Step 1: Press the “ctrl+alt+delete” keys and select Task Manager.
Step 2: Under the Processes tab, navigate and select Discord.
Step 3: Once you select Discord, click on End task. Do this for all Discord processes.
Step 4: Now go to the Windows Search Bar, type “Control Panel” and hit enter.
Step 5: Click on Programs and Features.
Step 6: Here, right-click on Discord, then click on Uninstall.
Follow all the steps to uninstall the apps.
Step 7: Close everything and then press the “Windows+R” keys to open the Run dialog box.
Step 8: Type “%appdata%” and hit enter.
Step 9: Locate the Discord folder and delete it.
Step 10: Open the Run Dialog box again, type “%localappdata%” and hit enter.
Step 11: Locate and delete the Discord folder from here as well.
Now restart your computer.
Once your computer opens, you can download and install Discord from the scratch again. This should fix the issue for you.
