However, if your workflow involves Google services like Drive, Docs, etc., there’s not a direct way to get dark mode. With some tricks, you can easily enable Google Drive Dark Mode and Dark Mode across many other Google services on your computer.

How to Enable Google Drive Dark Mode
Using Chrome Flags
Chrome Flags are some experimental features that Google likes the users to test. They can become permanent features in the coming time but this is where you can enable Google Drive dark mode.
Actually, it enables dark mode across all the web pages you load on your Chrome browser. So here is how it is done:
Step 1: Open a new tab in Chrome, copy and paste the following in the URL box and hit enter:
Step 2: You will now see the search bar on the new page, type “Force Dark” and in the results, you will see “Force Dark Mode for Web Contents”.
Step 3: Use the drop-down menu and select Enabled.
Step 4: Now click on Relaunch at the bottom for the changes to happen.
Step 5: Now open your Google Drive and you will see a dark theme enabled.
This is one of the safest ways to do enable Google Drive dark mode on a PC.
Using Browser Extensions
The Chrome browser and other browsers like Firefox and Edge support browser extensions and you can use them to enable Google Drive Dark Mode. Here is how to do it on Google Chrome:
Step 1: Go to Chrome Web Store.
Step 2: In the search bar on the left side, type “Dark Mode” and hit enter
Step 4: From the search results, you can choose any popular and high-rated extension.
Personally, I like Night Shift Redux a lot. So you can also choose that.
Step 5: Open the extension of your choice and click on Add to Chrome button.
Step 6: You will see a popup menu, click on Add extension.
Step 7: Once you have added the extension, go to Google Drive. And you will see the Night Sift Redux popup icon in the extension tray. By clicking on the icon, you can enable or disable the night mode on any website.
Enable Google Drive Dark Mode on Mobile
If you have an Android smartphone, you can enable Google Drive Dark Mode within the app. Here is how:
Step 1: Open the Drive app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Tap on the menu icon on the top-left side.
Step 3: Then tap on Settings.
Step 4: Under Theme, tap on Choose theme.
Step 5: From here, you can select Dark theme.
Note: You can only use this method on your Android smartphones. As of now, there is no such option in the Drive app on iOS smartphones.
