Last year in October 2019, Google announced the Pixel Buds 2 and Pixel 4 during the Made by Google 2019 Event. It seems that Google is ready to launch the device.
Online Listings for Pixel 2 Buds
Earlier in February this year, the Pixel Buds 2 got listed on a third-party online seller, B&H Photo Video. And now it also appeared on another online retailer called ABT Electronics.
Reported by AndroidPolice, ABT was also taking pre-orders for Pixel Buds 2 before the product was removed from the listing. ABT was taking pre-orders at $179 which matched the price that Google said it would cost upon release of the product in 2020. ABT accepted the pre-orders then removed the product from the list only suggest that ABT was quite eager to get the first bookings for the Pixel 2 Buds.
Some Specification Details for Pixel Buds 2
The Pixel Buds 2 will likely have custom-designed 12mm dynamic speakers to deliver superior quality audio. It will also have sensors to cancel ambient noise and get the users some better quality audio during calls. With an ergonomic design for the Pixel Buds 2, its design will be, “a customizable, secure fit while the spatial vent keeps you open to the world around you”.
And very obviously, the Pixel Buds 2 are compatible with Google Assistant, so you can do multiple activities like playing music, getting directions by saying ‘Hey Google’. The device has touch controls and supports Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It is also water-resistant. The device has wireless charging and requires an assistant enabled smartphone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or above.
Well, this might not be the most correct time to launch some accessories like wireless audio devices because everyone is forced to stay at home. Everything except the essential services is on a halt. People are only spending money on the important stuff. So launching the Pixel Buds 2 soon is not a very great idea as Google can see a loss in sales.
