Realme India CEO, Madhav Seth has confirmed that the company is going to launch its first Realme fitness band in the first half of 2020. “As I have told previously, our vision is to make Realme as one of the most preferred tech lifestyle brands for the youth. So we are coming with some exciting accessories and we will reveal them very soon” said Madhav Seth earlier in the year.
Realme had become an independent brand now since 2017, it has been branching out into every field be it power banks or earphones. Recently Realme entered a new category with the launch of its truly wireless headphones in India called Realme Buds Air, priced at 3,999/- it resembles the Apple AirPods by all means just like any other knock off Airpods on the market. But Realme aims to offer better performance and durability unlike most of the knock offs.
Although the fitness band market has been saturated with every other brand out there launching their own bands, some of them on their 4th or 5th generation of the fitness band, along with which there is a couple of fitness band knock offs.
Still, Realme being a prominent brand now in the Indian market, if the fitness band offers what other devices from Realme offer with its pricing and features, it still stands a chance to catch up maybe even get ahead with the brand loyal customers they have.
