A new update from Facebook has announced that WhatsApp rolling out Messenger rooms integration in public beta version. One month back, Facebook announces that they will integrate a feature called Messenger rooms into Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp which will support video calling up to 50 people. Recently, the Company announced that the Messenger rooms have started rolling out for the users and now with the new update WhatsApp also integrated with the Messenger rooms.
Messenger rooms are considered as an alternative to the other video conferencing apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Team, etc. Now integrating messenger rooms with WhatsApp means a huge amount of people whoever uses the WhatsApp will shift to the Messenger room to try new messenger rooms also the new feature is quite convenient and useful.
WhatsApp Rolling Out Messenger Rooms Integration in Public Beta
The most famous Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp rolling out messenger rooms integration in public beta version. With the messenger rooms integration in the public beta version of WhatsApp, it will be available for few users right now.
Facebook Messenger rooms have rolled out globally on 14 May and now WhatsApp also going to do the same. WhatsApp features are under development and available to some users who have 2.20.163 Android beta update installed. In starting reports were saying that WhatsApp rolling out messenger rooms integration in public beta version will first release for the USA, other countries will be included after some time.

If you want to check that either your device got messenger rooms or not just check it in your chatbox, messenger rooms replaced the camera option but it is still available in the chat bar, so don’t worry!
If you tap on the room’s icon, WhatsApp will show an Introductory message and further details.
Moreover, you can also use rooms from the Calls section.

After tapping on the room option, your contacts will be displayed and you will have another option to create a room, with the selected people.

After the room is created, another window is opened and you are asked to “Continue in Messenger”, as the feature is developed by Facebook, and also WhatsApp is owned by Facebook, so WhatsApp will ask you to open the Messenger to continue the process.

If you want to try the new messenger room integration in the public beta version 2.20.163 of WhatsApp, so you can download the APK file from here and try the new feature.
According to Facebook, anyone can join the room without having any Facebook account, but for hosting a call an account would be needed. All the things will be confirmed when the feature will roll out publicly.
