How To Control F on iPhone?
Safari Browser
In case if you are using the Safari browser, then there is no ‘Find in Page’ like any other web browser. However, Apple has a different way of letting you search for words. And you can check these methods out below:
Method 1:
First, launch Safari from your iPhone and open the webpage in which you want to perform a search.
Next enter, your search term right where you have entered the web address and scroll down to the bottom of the list.
Over here, you should see the option Find “your entered word”. Tap on it to look for the word on the webpage.
Method 2:
You can also perform a search using the share menu. For this, you will need to tap on the Share button. This will open a new menu on your screen.
From the menu, scroll down and select Find On Page. Then enter the word you wish to look for, and it will instantly search for the word and show you the results.
Also, once you are done searching for the word, tap on the Done button exit from the find mode.
Google Chrome
With updated Google Chrome, you can search for specific words on a webpage in a straightforward way. As it offers you a Find in page option.
- So simply go to the webpage on which you want to look up words. Then tap on the three dots icon from the bottom navigation menu.
- Scroll down through the menu and select the Find in page option.
- Next, enter the word, and it will instantly perform a search. Use the arrow buttons to navigate through the webpage.
- Once your search is completed, hit the done button, and you are done.
How to Use Control F on iPhone in Messages?
If you are an iMessage user, you might find it hard to find words in your chats. As there is no search option like the WhatsApp app has.
However, it should feel good to know that the iPhone comes with two built-in features which you can use to search for words or phrases within the Messages app.
At first, you can go to the Messages app and scroll from the top to open the search box. Then enter the word that you wish to look for.
Alternatively, you can swipe right on your iPhone screen and type down the word you wish to search for. And your iPhone will bring you all the results with that word.
