There is a developer beta update already rolling out for the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 and you can use these updates and find out how the new OS will look on iPhones and iPads.
In this guide, we will show you how you can get iOS 14 developer beta and iPadOS 14 developer beta on your iPhones and iPadOS 12 on your iPads. But before that make sure that you already have an Apple Developer account that pretty much like any other Apple product is costly at about USD 99 fee.
Also, note that these developer beta updates can sometimes be very buggy and cause a lot of problems. So it is recommended that you create a stable backup so that in case something goes wrong you can switch back to iOS 13 and have all your data back too. How to Get iOS 14 Developer Beta Update
Step 1: Go to Apple’s Developer page and login on with your iPhone.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Downloads’ page and from the left menu, scroll down and find ‘iOS 14 Beta’ and click on ‘Install Profile’.
Step 3: You will see a request to accept the download profile, accept the request.
Step 4: Now go to your iPhone’s Settings under the Apple ID, you will see ‘Profile Downloaded’. Click on it.
Step 5: Now click on ‘Install’ and your beta update will be downloaded.
Step 6: You will see an agreement, give your consent to move forward.
Step 7: You will be asked to restart your iPhone, restart your iPhone.
Step 8: Go to Settings, and navigate to ‘Software Update’. If your profile update was successful, you will be able to download the new iOS 14 beta update and you can download and install it just like any other iOS update.
Step 9: Download and install the update and after the restart you will be switched to iOS 14 beta.

Well, it is also very simple just follow all of the above steps with your iPad and just download the ‘iPadOS 14 Beta’ profile and install it like in the steps mentioned above and that will do the job.
So this is how you can get iOS 14 beta or iPadOS 14 beta for developers. However, the beta updates for the general public will be out by July so you can get these in July too.
