You can create a Facebook watch party using facebook’s timeline or Newsfeed, here’s how
Method 1- Host Facebook watch party from News Feed or Timeline?
- Go to your Facebook app, and log in to your account.
- At the top of the News Feed, tap on create a post.
- Click on three dots, and then on Watch party.
- Search the video you want to stream and you can also choose from a category.
- If you want to add any other video after first you can click Add to queue.
- Click on Done.
- You can add a description for your Watch Party, and click Post.

Now you will see a message saying “Your Watch Party Is About To Begin.” Invite &add your friends and stream the videos together. The people you are inviting will receive a notification, and when someone joins the watch party you will see his/her profile picture at the bottom of the screen
Method 2- Create a Watch Party In a Group
To create a Facebook watch party in a group, follow the following steps:
- Go to Facebook, and log in to your account.
- Click on Left Menu and navigate to the group.
- Tap on Write Post at the top of the group
- Click on Watch Party.
- Search the video you want to stream and you can also choose from a category.
- If you want to add any other video after first you can click Add to queue.
- Click on Done.
- You can add a description for your Watch Party, and click Post.

Method 3- Create a Watch Party from a Page
If you want to create a Facebook Watch Party using a page, you need to be an Admin of the page or editor at the page. Else follow the following steps to create a watch party from a page
- Go to Facebook, and log in to your account.
- Click on Left Menu of your News Feed click on Pages.
- Choose the Page where you like to host the watch party.
- Tap on Create post or Write Post at the top of the page.
- Click on Watch Party.
- Search the video you want to stream and you can also choose from a category.
- If you want to add any other video after first you can click Add to queue.
- Click on Done.
- You can add a description for your Watch Party, and click Post.

That’s it, you have created a watch party using Facebook page, and now you will see a message saying “Your Watch Party Is About To Begin.” Invite &add your friends and stream the videos together. Method 4- Create a Watch Party from a Video
If you are watching a video on Facebook, and suddenly you feel that it would be more entertaining if you stream the same video with friends, so you can host Facebook watch party from a video, to do so, follow the following steps
- The video you are watching, click on Share icon from the bottom-left corner.
- Click on Start a watch party.
- If you want to add any other video after first you can click Add to queue.
- Click on Done.
- You can add a description for your Watch Party, and click Post.

When You’re In Your Watch Party
When the watch-party starts you can do some more things to make your party more interesting.
- You can add more videos in the queue using the Add video button.
- You can add another host to manage your party by clicking on Add Co-host.
- You can invite more people to watch the party hosted by you, by clicking the Invite button at the bottom left.
- Click on Write Something… to chat with the other people in your party.
- You can End the party hosted by you, by clicking the End Watch Party.

When The Watch Party Ends
Once you finish watching your party, so you will receive a recap (saved in your timeline as a post) of all the videos streamed in your party with comments that were made during the party.
